Sherborne Park Estate (Gloucestershire)

Sherborne Park Estate is an ideal Family Fun walk, and is only a 15min drive from Bourton on the Water.

The walk is approx 2.5miles long and takes roughly 1.5hrs to complete.

It takes in lovely views over Sherborne Brook and the Cotswold Valleys. The walk includes exquisite woodland with some magical sculptures.Outdoor Activities for Children

The children will love hunting for the next woodland sculpture and even the Ice house.

There is a lovely tea room in the village of Sherborne, if you would like to stop for a cup of tea and cream cake.Maybe take a picnic and enjoy the views whilst eating sandwiches the children have helped you make.

Remember to pack your wellies as it can get a little bit muddy which adds to the Fun!!!

Cotswold Water Park

Why not hire a BBQ and get cooking after a full day on the water!!!

Cotswold Wildlife Park

The wildlife park is packed full of exotic animals and is one of the ideas of outdoor activities for your children we have come up with. Here are some examples of just a few of the creatures you can see when you go for a visit:Outdoor Activities For Your Children

  • Penguins
  • Meerkats
  • Lions
  • Giraffes
  • Rhinos
  • Camels
  • Snakes
  • Lemurs

Jump on the train and explore all the exciting animals throughout the park and have fun on the adventure playground. Visit the guinea pigs in the petting zoo and give them a cuddle.

If your children are aged between 7 and 11 years why not take them on a Junior Keeper experience.

Your children will meet some of the keepers and gain hands on experience working with a selection of different animals.
